The Desperation of a Day in the Open Desert

Hochaumba is a small town in the northern part of South America. It's home to an abandoned hotel, which has been turned into a shelter for migrants. The camp was set up by local people who wanted to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and help those suffering from it. More than 1,000 refugees are expected to spend nearly a week out on the open desert.
