Sam Mucchnick and the Wrestling Baron

In 1948, Sam Mucchnick calls a group of wrestling bosses together to form the National Wrestling Alliance. The NWA was formed by wrestlers who were fighting and bribing each other to like steal each other's wrestlers. This kind of mix of lies and theater to create this illusion of a contest is known as kayfabe or "the art of lying"
