The Soundscape of a Tropical Reef

There is a lot of reef restoration work going on, particularly in the Great Barrier Reef. We've done research that tracks the soundscape of a coral reef as it's restored. You can start to hear animals that you'd expect to hear on a healthy reef. Just by changing how a habitat sounds, you can fundamentally change how animals will interact with it. It could lead to beneficial outcomes for restoration interventions.
