I'm surprised there aren't more people like me technical people that made a bunch of money and are interested in some of these things. And I think possibly the biggest leverage point in human history. We're throwing a lot of things at the wall and seeing what sticks. It's back to the very earliest days of supercomputers, you still have the balance between bandwidth storage and computation. But it's been remarkably constant across all those years that you still need all three.

John Carmack is a legendary programmer, co-founder of id Software, and lead programmer of many revolutionary video games including Wolfenstein 3D, Doom, Quake, and the Commander Keen series.
