How to Stabilize a Patient

We bring our own kit, we did not travel light at all. We have most of the things we will need with us already. Even things simple things like infusion pumps are different across different hospitals here. There's a lack of standardization of what anyone uses from a kitman points of view. So it gives some degree of advice before you even leave and then we go out to see them. Sometimes stabilization can be relatively quick and in hours, sometimes it can take a lot longer than that. I stayed at the patient's bedside for eight hours because I couldn't move them until I was up, okay? So it just kind of depends on how sick they are.
