Is This a New Paradigm?

Sally Kohn: It seems like this, although likely was led by the US, it was NATO. And many countries decided all at once that they were going to freeze assets and kind of cut Russia off from this global financial system. There may be some element of that in the sense that there's a maybe a tendency or a tendency for politicians to reach for sanctions as a tool because they're perceived as better than military conflict. So yeah, I don't necessarily know that I would call it like a new paradigm, but I think it is maybe sort of a continuation of a trend.
