CHAPTER

The Ventral Visual Stream and Parallel Processing

I like this idea of you know at every step in the wake of some sort of visual processing there is then an opening of resources to do other things. I mean there's also the possibility that everything is going on in a fully parallel process right so the two objects the cat and a dog is being processed at the same time, passes through the hierarchy but that also creates a bottleneck problem. That's why I would like to think that this pipelining mechanism allows both for sequential and parallel processing at thesame time. This is so far um speculation right so we don't have the evidence for this yet but that is what you're trying to to establish now.
