The Social Side of Open Source in 1.0
The software freedom conservancy home brew has joined the open source community. The project's recurring monthly revenue is zero and they are looking to raise money for infrastructure, governance and running of the project. "I don't feel happy spending money on a recurring basis until i have money coming in," says co-founder John Boulden. He would love to just be able to spin up at AWS but he can't afford it.
