If you are not metabolically flexible, it could be a sign that your body's not tapping into fat burning for energy effectively. With that said, I love snacks. If I am getting hungry in between meals, I try and make it really nutrient rich and low glycemic. None of those things spike my glucose at all. So I know I'm keeping the insulin, blender, better control.
