Are They Ever Able to Return to Their Initial Commitments?

There's things that we've kind of built into the structure of our society that work against the possibility of people who are wise and ethical rising to positions of power. And I'm not the only one saying this is like noted and actually pretty well researched, just the correlations between power in corporate organizations and government and indicators of sociopathy psychologically. The more money you have, for example, the less capacity you have for empathy. You actually can't calculate since the other thing worth noting so we're actually in a position where the ethical problems that we have to work with outstripped most of the frameworks we have for thinking about ethics.
