Why We Need Not Less Billionaires but More
My view is that we need not fewer billionaires, but more. In fact, the more rich people the better. Questions of wealth creation should be bedrock of politics on both right and left. The paradime from which billionaire bashing emerged strikes me as winging and malicious. I find it dishearteningly spiteful. It ignores the actual causes of widespread sary like unwieldy, corrupt bureaucracies creating devastatingly inefficient social services. Instead, picketian friends prefer to look at the world through the prism of shadowy global elites,. quote, rentier power and in erited wealth.
