In academic centers, a huge amount of the funding comes from pharma through quote funding research. If you look at food industry research, if a food company has funded the study, you're going to see a likelihood of a positive outcome eight times more than you would see if it's a NIH or publicly funded study. So there can be a way to do it, but you have to have the firewalls in place. A lot of times they're not. And that's part of the problem.
