When the caucus put out that statement, did you imagine that the legal aid society would come to your defence? I had discussed that, actually, with tina luongo when we met in january. What i thought is that the folks who were so unhappy with my views would say, oh, she was investigated for not doing her job well, or and any pretext, right? And then it would be out there. But what they did was retueat that disgusting letter. People didn't want to talk about it, engage about it. It was sort of like, you're right, people are afraid.
