How Neurodivergent and Neurotypical Students Experience the Classroom Environment Differently
I feel like today's generation definitely, at least in the population where I teach, right, we are out of quarantine. Schools in New York City have been fully open for two years now and students are excited to socialize. And so while both students can experience discomfort, for some neurodivergent learners, that discomfort is so intense that it removes access to the learning activity.
