The Importance of Sticking to One Airplane
The second biggest mistake I've seen in the airline business is when workers punish customers to get their way in labor negotiations. Using your customers as leverage, pawns in your labor dispute is a dangerous destructive game and really not fair to travelers. Some unions have billboards up around airports telling people not to fly the airline. Really? How short sighted? You get paid by those customers. If you piss them off or scare them away, it's ultimately going to hurt you.
