In the 60s, 70s and Packard was the villain in Palo Alto. The left did the anti-war movement,. chased them and also bombed, firebombed Bill Hewlett's house. And so you can really see what kind of PR war, Silicon Valley won since then. But we don't associate Silicon Valley with it in that way now but at the time they really did.
