Walter rodney was both pan africanist and marxus. Like most third world revolutionaries, he was both Pan-Africans and Marxists. He understands that without a cohesive sense of cultural political identity, you can't have a cohesive revol nary movement. And i think it really speaks largely to how we memorialize people and how we give people a legacy.
