We, until we're pretty well along, are utterly dependent on our parents and on our society. This adventure is when in mythology it's called the Herald. Oftentimes, after the call to adventure, the hero goes in search of a mentor. It's this idea of someone with higher wisdom who is going to imbue you with something. But a mentor can be anything inside of the story world that provides information about what the call toAdventure means.
