Is Tammy Fay the Hero of the Movie?
I think the challenge here is that this person lived a very messy and complicated life. But it's unclear if this is a woman who's experiencing delusions of grandeur, whether or not she was profoundly talented at something and actually needs should be celebrated for that. I don't want the message of a movie to be spoon said to me. It's ok to leave it up to some sense of interpretation. Not a lot of self analysis going on for tammy fay,. which, you know, to each their own.
