The Dissonance Between Conservatives and the Party of Stability
Between 2010 and 2020 the conservative party won four elections in a row, each one with the largest share of the vote. It was getting increasingly popular despite you would probably say Britain's situation getting increasingly worse. I think there have been opportunities where the conservative party actually could have, but it hasn't taken full advantage of them. They are just turning increasingly towards cultural war which isn't again a new aspect of the conservative party they have been very good at sowing division in pursuit of power throughout their history.
