The Impossibility of God Assuming a Physical Form

The notion that God doesn't even have any kind of emotions or any kind of personality does not make its way into the list of 13. For the Ramam, it's a philosophical truth: By definition, God can have a physical form. A physical God is going to be subject to corruption, and it can't be perfect. You would not derive this solely from rabbinic teaching. But I also think, if you look in the Talmud, you see the opposing position as well. This might be a dispute that goes back to tell me how to understand that God exists as a physical being.
