Al Jana: I think the caricatures we might have about hell could include things like, you know, if I walk down the aisle for an altar call and I write my name on a card or I pray a magic prayer, that means I get to just buzz off to heaven when I die. And that's a wrong way to look at it because when you really see the biblical narrative, God restoring his good creation. Al Jana: One angle on this is that God's purpose is protection. Like he's actually protecting his kingdom from the destructive power of sin.
