Is Modern Capitalism a Corrosive Force?

Modern capitalism as much as communism, is a corrosive force. It slowly works to dissolve differences into homogeneity and create people who have tastes but not identities. No traditional agrarian society will ever give us an existentialist philosopher. They have no use for them. To stand up to them, the arab leadership would have to find a way to convince the tromatized and disillusioned palestinian arabs to come together. A tribe has freedom. The cost of that freedom is having to remain vigilant to protect your own interests.
