I feel like this formula that they have worked up for this game is bigger than the game itself. And it's like, man, if I had a, you know, iPhone, iPad version of this game that was just the combat, like that would be killer. Another cool smart thing that I wanted to touch on real quick in the battles, there are two different kinds of enemies. There are like grunts and real bad guys and the grunts, which is my terminology now, don't have a health bar. Any hit knocks them out. Marvel's Midnight Suns is a tactics game from XCOM developer Firaxis, only instead of shooting aliens a hundred times from behind cover, you play cards to beat ass with your best friend, Blade. This is, objectively, a very good idea, but how well does the rest of the game hold up? Also, what's on our backlog as we approach the GOTY proceedings?
