John heywood composed several plays in the late 15 twenties and early 15 thirties. He largely stopped writing plays, and he returned to his earlier role as a singer, musician and musical composer. Shortly after heywood completed the last of these plays, they were all printed in 15 33. And that was another important development, because it meant his plays could now be read by the general public.
