Chuck Cox's Honking Wave

Josh and Stephen Powell tried to justify their wild accusations by using extracts from Susan's diary. Investigators still felt it wasn't enough to get a search warrant. So again, their plan turned back to just letting them humiliate themselves. Chuck Cox stepped up to the plate with some of Susan's friends in August 2011. The idea was that they would hold up big signs with Susan's face on while simultaneously baiting Josh or Stephen into causing a public scene. And unsurprisingly, it worked. Both Josh and Stephen arrived in quick succession to get their side of the story out there for the local TV cameras.
