The Aircraft's Fire Service Arrived on the Flight of 10
Two rapid intervention vehicles attended first, one arriving at the aircraft coincident with and the other just after the one door had opened. So even before the alarm went off, letting them know about it, they'd already seen it and we're already getting ready and heading out there. The fire service vehicles were positioned in order to attempt to keep the escape routes clear fire and to attack the source of the fire. When the second fire engine arrived, the first concentrated on the burning jet fuel and the left engine while the second sprayed foam over the fuselage and the open door that flight of 10 was using.
