The prince and his family say the nates destroyed the deeds because they were stealing the land. They've now been involved in this lawsuit for 32 years since then. There's all sorts of legal complicationst The german government claimed that the deeds were changed under east german land reform. Later this week a german court will be presented with fresh evidence, which is significant not just for prince frederick's case, but for our understanding of history.
