Gerard: I have a feeling that Gerard was not well received amongst the Roman hierarchy. Why? Because, morally speaking, in a very binary system, their behavior is illicit. And it looked like, well, just look at what Jesus does. Emulate those biblical women like Ruth and Esther emulate them. They're models of their models of faith. So while we're doing all things, you know, orderly and decently and you're like, hmm, when were they disorderly and how did they get that way?
