The Effect of Temperament on Narcissism

The differences in narcissism arise early on and they stay stable across life, I think, that's an important factor. There may also be an aspect of narcissism that differentiates grandiose from vulnerable. Is it possible that narcissism changes due to life events or therapy or something? We haven't done many randomized clinical trials to really look at what would work therapeutically.
