Introduction

Elder Peter F. Muir spoke at the 193rd Annual General Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Moroni exhorts us as we read the Book of Mormon to remember how merciful the Lord have been under the children of men from the creation of Adam even down until the time and to ponder it in our hearts. My Father particularly loved the account of the Savior's visit to the people of Nephi. He had drunk of the bitter cup and suffered all things so that we would not suffer if we would repent.
