The Rogation Days in American Catholicism
The Lesser Rogation Days were more important in places like England and France than the one on April 25th. The English refer to these actually as gang days because the word gang literally means to walk about. In parts of England, they would have sort of a giant paper mache dragon that would be part of the procession. It's cool to see the Ember Days in American Catholicism making a minor comeback.
