The Future of Refereeing
A higher threshold will be applied to contact between players. This means there should be fewer free kicks awarded for incidents, which last season might well have been penalized for being overly physical. It just strikes me as like, we're going to see a lot of really bad red cards in the opening part of the season that you will not see in the second part of the year. And that's not what people are paying for either. I mean, everything about it just reeks of stupidity. The rules are there. Longer games more intensity and less emotions to be shown by the players. Let's stay in school here.
