A lot of feminist science fiction toys with the idea that like women are nicer than men. The left hand of darkness by Ursula K. Le Guin is one of my favorite novels of all time. In essentialism, you have no agency. But in constructivism, you can rebuild it. You know, if you want to make it out of silk, that's great. If you want to making it out of poop, that's fine too.
