The Importance of Sustainability in Russian Arm Supply to India

The longer this war progresses, the more drain it is on Russian defense industry. The probability of Russia exceeding to that request and temporarily denying or delaying some things increases in a conflict between India and China. So, increasingly you can see that there are places where the Russians can't do much. While it's important that we maintain a steady relationship with Russia, the utility of that relationship might just increasingly be declining from an Indian point of view. But I am by no means saying that India must be dumping Russia as a partner. There is a value in providing Russia with alternative partners so that it does not find itself isolated enough that it must further depend on Beijing.
