Wasp and the Brahmin

The term wasp began being used in in the fifties and sixties to refer to a certain elite class not all old stock Americans. It had taken on these other connotations of kind of meaning yeah like the rich people from the northeast going way back. We're told that okay there's this ruling class of people who go to Nantucket they wear Abercrombie but you ain't seen those debutant balls yet.
