The average time that some of these people are in the pure bred cattle business will be somewhere in the neighborhood of five to eight years. The vast majority of commercial producers are in it for a much, much longer haul than the average purebred producer. You can buy into a very, very good set of females, both pure bred and commercial. But you have to know a little bit about that herd. And i think far too often, a some of these traits that the industry has chased, and perhaps a little too far in terms of a extreme growth, they can be destructive to a herd of cattle.
