What Are the Different Parts of the Brain?

Brain consists of many, many different parts. And those parts are responsible for different functions. We can actually group into three major classes based on the functions they're responsible for and also based on when they evolved in terms of evolution. The oldest parts of the brain, which are just kind of extension of the, extension of the spine, we can group into the lizard brain. A bit more evolved, we call the mammalian brain complex. And the most complex, the whole wrinkly bit on the outside, we call neocortex or the human brain.
