Are You Changing Outcomes on the Global Scale?

Anesthesiologists are acting in an instinctual way and over the course of their career, if they help one or two people in their 15 to 30 year career, well, then we've actually changed something for that physician and those two patients. You change outcome for the individual, but are you changing outcomes on the global scale on a population basis? That is the wrong question.
