There's no evidence to suggest that your brain will somehow magically create the events, you know. It's dangerous because if you project this version of what you want and then you find it doesn't happen, you're going to be really disappointed. Instead, it's probably better to have the stoic approach, which is to understand that to an extent, there will be times when you're unhappy and times when you suffer. There won't necessarily be a happy ending, you know, and so you've got to try and appreciate the things that you have and live in the moment.
