What's the Problem With the Black Flies?

The bugs aren't bad enough. They get really, really bad when you go north from there. In Labrador, particularly, one of the wildest places of that region is actually the Quebec shore and the north shore of the Gulf of St. Lawrence. You have to just be prepared for it. The black flies are nasty, nasty buggers,. And they just descend in mass. It's not all the time, at least it hasn't been for us yet. I know in Greenland, some are there tough too.
