The Pacifist View on Violence on the Show

I've been thinking about whether or not you have a prevailing philosophy around some of those bigger ideas on the show. Obviously, what we see Barry doing in this sequence feels in line with that. You think it's more beneficial to use violent storytelling to show a point about how absurd and ridiculous our violent world is? I feel like we've always shown the violence to be pretty real, even when you're doing stuff like Ronnie Lilly, which is really insane.
