Should China Join the Paris Club?
The Paris Club is a grouping of essentially G7 and other major lenders who work together in an informal setting to agree on terms of the debt restructuring. China had considered joining the Paris Club many years ago, I think, going back to 2016, but didn't become a member. The rapid worsening of US-China relations under the Trump administration essentially killed any prospect of that.
