We are raised on the milk of the gospel, and then progress to a point where we are ready to actually chew something a little more solid. We're not o short circuiting the system and trying to rush ahead when we have not yet let the milk help us fully develop. But neither are we stuck in the milk stage when our teeth came in a long time ago and we're ready to chewse stronger stuff. It's a great passage about growing up in god, which is his ultimate goal for each of us. And so much of that occursi by learning. In verse 11, he says that with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.
