The story is that on the evening of her murder, the men had escorted her out to the crumbles with the intention of robbing her. Once they were isolated and no one was around, they try to rob her and it sounds like she fought back. And the younger man, Jack Field, bashed her in the face with this walking stick, and she fell backwards and was screaming.
