The Book of Song, of Songs Pervades the Book of Revelation

In the book's end, there is still some sense of absence, an open endedness to desire. The church has long recognized in this an analogy to its relationship to christ. In ephesians, chapter five, verses 31, 32, the apostle paul wrote, therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. This mystery is found, and i am saying that it refers to christ and the church. But the promise of the book goes beyond that. As we learn to see the world more generally in this way, we will be able to see glimpses of christ and the ch in our own relationships too.
