What It Looks Like to Pioneer a Mimetic Icon
The Zor by Zora, the noggles by nouns and the silhouette of a peppin are just three mimetic icons. A mimetic icon should be simple enough that when you see it, you recognize it instinctually, but it should have enough complexity and layers to it that it opens up the conversation for whatever you want to add to it. We're really just taking Unformed, emotional sensory data that is originating inside of us and then trying to put it into words, symbols, art or whatever we can put it into.
