The Occultists of the 1970s
The 1970s occult revolution 67 happened on the left wing before then most occultists were on the right. Dorothy Clutterbuck was a pillar of the conservative party in her area she was politically very much a conservative and that was true of a lot of the other occultists of the time going back quite some time. Magic has done the same flip-flop why that should be the case is a really interesting question but it will take us a long ways away from what we're talking about.
