The Metaphysical Objection to Ultimate Meaning
In one of your papers you say that this is a metaphysical objection to ultimate meaning, but not like a purely logical objection. I'm having a hard time feeling existential angst when I'm thinking about purely conceptual impossibility. So could you clarify, is this like a metaphysical point or a logical point? I think it's a metaphysical point. And the reason you should be sad about it is because it renders your efforts pointless. It has the same structure as your other efforts that go somewhere. But you know that this thing that you're doing goes nowhere.
