The Chinese exclusion act of 1882, like the one piece of legislation the United States history that explicitly targeted a racial group for barring from entry. America defended Taiwan. It overturned a constitutionally elected government in Chile right around that same time I was born in 1970. And we have to have this ability to actually look at our country and look at America as an all countries with both fallen images and and image bearers of God's character and goodness.
